For a wonderful sleep experience silk duvets are difficult to beat.

The outer casing selected is a superior 16mm Charmeuese silk - a higher grade than Habotai silk which is commonly found and with a far greater lustre (indeed many manufacturers even substitute cotton for the outer casing to lower costs). The touch exceeds any other duvet we have uncovered in our travels over the years, no matter the price.

This ensures the most exquisite drape as well as ensuring your duvet will last forever and a day.

Internally, extra long Mulberry silk fibres are hand woven into layers of webbing. Intricate stitching ensures the filling is delicately secured.

Furthermore, a discreet zip is inserted which permits you to actually see and touch the filling in your duvet or pillow! This also serves to ensure the care label does not show through your bed linen.

Silk is renowned for it's properties of temperature regulation - it works with your body to create the ideal sleep environment. The silk casing ensures moisture is not absorbed and stored through the night with a far higher capacity to remain dry than cotton.

Ideal for allergy sufferers it is the most complete natural fibre used in bedding.

Duvets are hand produced with the silk filling laid back and forth to create a secure webbing. This is then delicately stitched to prevent any migration.

Finally, the edge of the duvets and pillows are beautifully piped and double stitched.

Small ties allow for two duvets to be neatly attached if required (any of the three weights sold can therefore be combined).

The pillows,sold seperately, are generously filled with 1.3 KG of silk in the standard 50x75cm size and 1.8 KG in the 50x90cm Superking version - our specification is around 30% higher in terms of fill weight compared to the norm. The result is a pillow that is surprisingly supportive yet soft.

In terms of warmth three different options are available - the range has been extended to include a winter weight for the first time.
