100% Pure Hungarian White Goose Down King Size Duvet
Sourced directly from Hungary's top manufacturer of natural fillings, we bring you the very best in quality and price at the very top end of the scale. We have not cut any corners in specifying the finest qualities available.

The materials used are exceptional - the finest high loft 100% Pure Hungarian Snow White Goose Down is hand filled into a sumptuous 100% pure cotton casing. The construction of fabric used is a superior 330 fine yarns per square inch, not a jacquard weave which is less even and can crucially prove unstable over time. With the absence of any feather and such a high count casing, the possibility of down penetrating the casing is minimised.
The lifetime of a duvet is mainly dependant on the integrity of the casing - we would hope you will still be benefiting from this product in 20 or 30 years time. Even longer perhaps....!!

The construction of the outer casing is in a cassette box construction - each pocket is approximately 14 inches square allowing for a perfect distribution of filling. Internal baffle walls avoid the requirement to stitch from top to bottom which can create cold spots...

The Down itself has a fill power of minimum 700 - extra light and lofty as you would expect from the best that Hungary has to offer. Total weight of filling used is only 1360 grammes for the 13.5 tog option, the total duvet weight comes to just under double this when the casing is taken into consideration.

The down filling is treated to the very highest standard - washed, sterilised and steam cleaned. Only pure thermal spring water is used with a turbidity of around 800 (the norm is 350 to 400). This means essentially the water is purer with less tiny particles which can remain inside the down. The down is then dried at 135 degrees for 20 minutes to complete the sterilisation process.
